Research shows that online reviews have a huge impact on consumer decisions. According to a survey sponsored by Zendesk, an overwhelming 90 percent of respondents who recalled reading online reviews claimed that positive reviews had influenced buying decisions, while 86 percent said buying decisions were influenced by negative online reviews. Of those surveyed, 45 percent used social media and 35 percent shared their opinions via online review sites.
